Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Return & Exchange of Item

All order placed through our website is final and there is no return nor exchange of item will be provided.

 

Cancellations

Cancellations of orders can be made via the Amendment Request Form at least 48 hours in advance before your delivery/pickup date and time.

Cancellations of orders is only possible if your order has not yet been processed (Eg, cake has been prepared or arranged for delivery) at the time when the request is reviewed. 

 

Refunds

All refunds of cancellations or amendments of order will be given in the form of store credit vouchers once the request of cancellation/amendment has been approved. 

Store credit voucher will be sent to the buyer’s email. 

Please keep the store credit voucher private and we are not liable should the store credit voucher has been used without the knowledge of the buyer.

Store credit voucher will be valid for 1 year and can be used for multiple purchases as long as there is remaining balance and not expired.

Refunds in cash will not be available due to cancellation or amendment of order.

 

Damage/defect/unsatisfactory condition

Should item received is in the following conditions:

  1. Melted
  2. Different texture
  3. Cake hits the cake box
  4. Cake is broken

Please report it to us at WhatsApp within 1 hours of receiving the item with your order number, clear picture/video of the item’s condition and defect. Item should remain unconsumed and maintain its original condition as received. 

 

Receive incorrect item 

If you received incorrect item, please report it to us at WhatsApp within 1 hour with your order number and a photo of the incorrect item and the order number shown on the packing slip. The incorrect item should remain unconsumed and in its original condition upon receiving it.

 

Action

We will proceed to investigate by considering each aspect from production to the point of delivery/collection.

Should it is concluded that the damage/defect is due to the handling of Adelaide Fine Bakes, a replacement or full refund either by cash or store credit will be given based in our sole discretion.

Should it is concluded that the damage/defect is not due to the handling of Adelaide Fine Bakes, no replacement nor refund for the item will be given.

Adelaide Fine Bakes reserves the right to amend this policy at any time without prior notice.
